Beds LSCB Protocol
Safeguarding Sexually Active Children and Young People
This Protocol is designed to help professionals identify where children and young people’s sexual relationships may be abusive to them and take appropriate protective action. It is based on the core principle that the welfare of the child is paramount and emphasises the need to accurately assess to what extent there may be a risk of significant harm when a child or young person engages in sexually activity.
